Inverclyde Voices began on 12th September 2005 with around 60 members coming along to the first rehearsal. This quickly grew to over 100 members in the weeks that followed. The choir Inverclyde Voiceswas founded by Palma Allan in response to a direct request from senior pupils who wanted to continue singing after leaving the Junior/Senior Choir with eight years vocal training under their belts. Many parents and friends also wanted to join. The aim of Inverclyde Voices has always been to offer the opportunity to sing together and bring simple but uplifting repertoire to people from all walks of life. We have grown and developed together over the last seven years since the choir’s inception and the sense of camaraderie, one of the many benefits of singing in a large choir, has grown tremendously. We now have almost 140 members who come together every Monday evening to sing and meet at several other points in the year to socialise!

Inverclyde Voices presents "An Afternoon of Song"

In 2019, Inverclyde Voices chose Ardgowan Hospice as the charity it would support over a period of at least 2 years. We made a positive start last year and planned to continue this year. However, as Coronavirus stopped all concerts we have been unable to raise the funds we had planned to.

Please enjoy listening to some of our previously recorded concert footage from across the years. We hope that you will consider donating to this worthy charity who do such important work in our community and touch all of our lives in one way or another. Please use the link below. We thank you for your ongoing support in these unprecedented times. Stay safe and take care everyone.
